Not a wide range of attractions

I went to Thorpe park in October when I was 13 and took a day of school. I loved stealth saw and swarm, but colossus really slammed my head against the seat. nemesis inferno was closed which was upsetting too. Overall I think that Thorpe park is pretty overrated because once you do them rides your bored.

Big thanks to all TP staff

Want to say a big well done to staff - every single member of the Thorpe Park team that we came across was enthusiastic, friendly and seemed to enjoy their job. Also nice to see they all wore masks even outside - set a great example and they should be proud of this. Was lucky it wasn't too busy but overall felt very covid secure. Not too crowded, plenty of hygiene measures and staff made sure everyone wore a mask anywhere inside (except the apparent 25% of population who are "exempt" but not fault of Thorpe Park) Had a really fun day on great rides with a good atmosphere. Thanks team Thorpe Park!

Will Lycanthorpe return ?

Hi there . This is for Thorpe park . Just wondering if you’re Lycanthorpe scare zone will be returning again ? I really liked it and am a huge fan of werewolves so would like it to come back again. Also probably gonna look into scare acting for Lycanthorpe when I’m old enough . Can you let me know on this? And if it comes back please can you keep it . Thank you . Euan

Downhill experiences

As much as I like visiting with my friends, it is not great during COVID precautions as people don't wear masks in queue or keep distances. Hate that parents also smoke in line, small spaces and around toilet area too...! :( Fright night is my fave time but sad that the jump scares were not spooky because they should not touch you, haha! Ride queue is long sometimes because of popularity like stealth or nemesis but closing time is best if staying overnight! ;D

Great day out in Disneyland

I think I pooed my self on one of the rides and the queues were massive but it was ok because I just pushed the little kids out the way. But anyways India is a great country and the rides were fantastic. 10/5 :) P.S I couldn't find the toilets so I pissed up a car but I did find a gay guy in a bush so I guess that was cool.

Had an accident of the brown chocolate…

Had an accident of the brown chocolate rain sort on one of the rides. Staff said to leave it and let the next guest deal with it. Shame the next guest was an elderly woman who mistook it for a chocolate gateau! Surprised cleaning wasn’t up to standard with the current affairs. But hey good date out for the fam and some pretty decent tissues in the loos not quite sand paper vibes but good on the clean up? Grade A++

A great day out with 2 kids!

I took the 2 kids (7 & 9) for the day. We were restricted on a lot of rides due to my son being just under 1.2m but we still managed to get on a lot of smaller rides and even though the queues were huge on the big rides, we didn't have to queue more than 30 mins for the rides and a lot were more like 10-15 mins. We went on about 8-10 rides which I was please with. The park is laid out lovely and felt well run and clean.

A few hundred quid for what?

Having booked a one night stay in the Shark Hotel with 2 days park passes, at a considerable cost,a first time experience for our 9 year old twins, we were ready for a fun packed break....Disappointing to be honest.Ride queues are ridiculous, covid-19 protocols are a joke(not in all cases to be fair) Shark hotel, a little cramped for the 4 of us but clean and tidy with a working aircon system. Noise was a problem, with one or two guests slamming doors and stomping around on the stairs outside our room, having eventually dropped off , we were then awoken by the same noises at the crack of dawn the following day.Infinity Restaurant was okay, staff were very good and attentive, food a little bland on choice, but a couple of beers and it made the evening a more pleasurable one, would recommend staying off campus if you can for better choice and value for money.Having been woken up Friday morning at the crack of dawn we went for breakfast( do book an early slot, otherwise you may be offered a time around 10am which is no good to anyone considering the opening times) we were lucky and rearranged. People start coming into the park around 9am to queue at perimeter until 10am when you are let through to queue for the rides, well we thought. We queued for an hour with numerous people jumping the queue etc just to get through into the rides, no social distancing, every man, woman, child left to fend for themselves. We were finally let through and were mobbed by kids sprinting to get to the front of the queue for the rides only to find another staff member blocking the entry as the ride had broken down (the whole park it turned out) Again a queue, an argument with a group trying to push past us, the staff member let us through.....a 200m sprint/walk whatever you fancied just to get to the entrance to the ride, again with kids pushing, bumping, falling and certainly no social distancing we were in. Another 45mins, ride is still out of action...28 degrees, no shade and no ride, not just us but anywhere in the park. By this time my kids were losing the will to live, having just spent 2 hours queueing and roasting and fighting off untamed teenagers. So we pulled the plug and left, not without a very nice chat with the quest services manager, who was unable to offer us any kind of compensation for the hundreds of pounds we had spent, other than complimentary tickets for another day at the park which we had anyway. There was no room what so ever for any kind of compensation/generosity offered by Merlin entertainments, who, having taken our money along with more that we spent in the park and restaraunt the day before, were very keen to keep hold of.Park 3 out of 5Staff 4 out of 5Management and Customer services 1 out of 5Covid-19 procedures 2 out of 5

Amazing!

We stayed at the Shark Cabins for one night and did two days in the park. The cabins were really awesome and the staff at the park were really friendly. The social distancing measures that have been put in place were really good and staff were constantly reminding visitors to adhere to them. We ate in the Infinity Restaurant and we were so impressed. Oliver was so helpful and attentive and because we had ordered vegan food, the kitchen staff were so lovely and told us that they were making sure that our food was cooked separately. Really great customer service and two awesome days in the park. Can't wait to go back!
